Who We Are
The OppO Foundation, founded in 2014 by Chairman Kayam Iqbal, an award-winning leader who overcame severe PTSD is a dynamic charity supporting ex-military personnel, their families, and dependents facing disability, mental health, or financial challenges.
In a sector with many veteran charities, we stand out by relentlessly pursuing excellence and continuous improvement. Our purpose is clear: to make a direct, targeted impact by assessing veterans’ needs and delivering innovative, effective support to those who have sacrificed so much for our Nation.

What We Do
Leaving the military is more than a career change, it’s leaving behind a way of life. The forces provide a strong sense of belonging, purpose, and a supportive family of comrades.
When that ends, many ex-service personnel feel isolated and unsure where to turn.
The OppO Foundation’s vision is to change that by building a supportive network in Civvy Street. We provide help through fully resourced projects, with the principle of never overpromising but always delivering.
We support those who have left or are leaving the services, no matter how long ago, as well as their families and dependants.
